Over the past year, our team has been carefully monitoring coral growth at the Swahili Nurseries to better understand which coral species grow best at different depths. We are happy to share the results of our latest analysis, based on measurements taken in March and November. In March, we measured 9 depth gradients holding a total of 360 coral fragments. On December 4th, our Reef Rangers proudly represented ReefoDivers Diani during a fishing competition held at Moana University in Diani. The event was organized by Kwale Fisheries and attended by many key officials and stakeholders from the marine sector. Our Reef Rangers set up an educational information stand to showcase our coral reef restoration project.
