New volunteer welcomed by a snake eel

Writer's picture: Guido PaapGuido Paap

In March we have trained a few more enthusiastic scuba divers to become Coral Reef Restoration Divers. Shelby became our latest volunteer and is helping out a few days per week with filling and cleaning coral tree nurseries. On one of her first dives she was adding corals to a new coral tree nursery design when a spotted snake eel came by to investigate what she was doing. This pretty and friendly eel curiously circled around for about 5 minutes before heading off to the reef again.
